Legacy are out of IEM Beijing 2026 after losing 2-1 on maps to B8, finishing the event in last place. B8 took Dust2 13-11, Legacy answered on Cache 13-6, and B8 closed the series out on Mirage 13-9.
It is a fourth straight defeat for the Brazilian side. Legacy reached number two on the VRS in September after winning FPG3, but they have a 3-10 record in series since ESL Pro League. Their three wins in that spell came against ShindeN, PARIVISION and DENDELE.
Italo "ksloks" Meinberg, who replaced Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira before the event, debuted with a 1.03 rating. Santino "try" Rigal was Legacy's best player with a 1.42 rating, including a 27-12 K-D on Dust2. Andrei "arT" Piovezan, whose absence due to meningitis coincided with the team's decline, finished with a 1.00 rating.
For B8, Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi stood out with a 1.43 rating and 54 kills across the series. B8 are bouncing back from missing the Major, and next face Natus Vincere in the lower bracket.
