FURIA became the next team to lock in a place in the IEM Beijing 2026 playoffs after beating Natus Vincere 2-1 on maps. The reigning IEM China champions will defend their title over the weekend.
They now face The MongolZ for a spot in the upper bracket semi-final. NAVI drop to the lower bracket, where they will meet the winner of Legacy vs. B8.
The series opened on Ancient, where FURIA won both pistol rounds and forced overtime thanks to strong fragging from KSCERATO. Natus Vincere won all four overtime rounds to take the map 16-12. Nuke also went to overtime after NAVI failed to convert a 9-3 CT half into a regulation win. FURIA closed it out 16-12, with KSCERATO getting eight kills during a 4-0 run.
On Cache, NAVI won their first pistol round of the series, but FURIA answered with eight rounds in a row. Natus Vincere kept fighting, and the game turned back toward FURIA after a 1v3 clutch from molodoy. The map ended 13-10, with FalleN finishing on 98.7 ADR.
FURIA were recently ranked number one in the world by HLTV and are now eyeing a third trophy in a row.
