Team Yandex beat Team Liquid 2:1 to finish PARI Universe group unbeaten

Team Yandex, with Macedonian player Saksa, beat Team Liquid 2:1 on the final group day of PARI Universe and topped Group A with four wins from four series.

Team Yandex closed the group stage of PARI Universe with a perfect record. On Monday at 14:00, the team of Macedonian support Saksa beat Team Liquid 2:1 in a Bo3 series.

The win was the fourth in as many series for Yandex in Group A. They had previously beaten GamerLegion, OG and 1w Team, each by 2:0, and dropped only one map in the entire group, to Liquid. That left them first in the standings with a 8:1 map record.

Liquid finished fourth in the group with one series win, which is still enough for a playoff spot, as the top four teams from each group advance.

The double-elimination playoffs of the Tier 1 tournament, with a $250,000 prize pool, begin on October 28.
