Team Yandex beat OG 2:0 in two marathon games at PARI Universe

Team Yandex, with Macedonian support player Saksa, beat OG 2:0 in the PARI Universe group stage, winning both games after more than an hour of play each.

Team Yandex took another step towards the playoffs at PARI Universe, beating OG 2:0 in their Saturday group stage series. Macedonian support player Martin "Saksa" Sazdov was part of the Yandex lineup.

Neither game was quick. The first lasted 61 minutes and the second 71, but Yandex came out on top both times and closed the Bo3 without dropping a map.

The group stage is played as two single round-robin groups of five teams, with all series Bo3. The top four teams from each group advance to the double-elimination playoffs, which start on October 28, while the rest are eliminated.

Yandex play again on Sunday against 1w Team, and on October 26 they meet Team Liquid in their final group series.
