Team Spirit beat LEGION 2:0 to stay alive at PARI Universe

Team Spirit bounced back from the loss to OG with a 2:0 win over LEGION in the PARI Universe playoffs. Next up is PARIVISION in the lower bracket quarterfinals.

Team Spirit stayed in the hunt at PARI Universe on Thursday, beating LEGION 2:0 in a Bo3 in the playoffs. The win came a day after a 1:2 defeat against OG, and it keeps the team alive in the double-elimination bracket of the $250,000 Tier 1 event.

LEGION, who reached the tournament through the qualifier, could not take a single map off Spirit. The same two teams met in the group stage, where Spirit also won 2:0 on their way to first place in Group B with a perfect 4-0 record.

Spirit now move on to the lower bracket quarterfinals, where PARIVISION await on Friday at 11:00. The two sides already met in the group stage, and Spirit came out on top 2:1 in that series.

The playoffs run until November 1, with a Bo5 grand final and Bo3 series in every other round.
