North American organization Sentinels has officially announced the departures of Gurjiwan "Jerrwin" Gill and Jonah "JonahP" Pulice. Jerrwin had earlier said he was allowed to explore options outside the team.
The two players joined Sentinels in March 2026 as part of a rebuild, filling the spots left by N4RRATE and Kyu. Jerrwin served as the main Duelist, while JonahP rounded out the roster on flex/Initiator duties. JonahP arrived as an established top-tier player who won Ascension in 2023 and had previously played for G2 Esports. Jerrwin was the rookie of the squad, coming from the North American Challengers scene.
The new roster struggled this season. It finished Stage 1 with a 2-3 record in Group Omega, narrowly missing the playoffs. In Stage 2 it ended with another 2-3 record and landed in the Play-Ins. There, Sentinels lost 2-0 to ENVY, then beat 2Game Esports 2-0, but a 2-0 loss to KRÜ Esports ended their 2026 campaign.
For the first time since 2023, Sentinels failed to qualify for an international event. The exits of Jerrwin and JonahP are the first roster changes of the offseason as the organization rebuilds for 2027.
The Sentinels roster currently consists of johnqt, Reduxx and cortezia.
