PARI Universe, the $250,000 Tier 1 online event run by FISSURE, has reached its final weekend. Today (Saturday, October 31) at 14:00 CET, Team Yandex and GamerLegion meet in the best-of-three upper bracket final. The winner books a place in Sunday's best-of-five grand final, while the loser drops to the lower bracket final later today. The champions will take home $125,000 in total — $80,000 for the players and $45,000 for the club.

Team Yandex's road to the final
Yandex — watson, CHIRA_JUNIOR, ATF, Saksa and Malady, coached by Accell — is the clear favorite. They topped Group A with a perfect 4-0 record, dropping only one map, then opened the playoffs with two narrow 2-1 wins over Astra Invicta and PARIVISION.

The PARIVISION series felt like an early grand final. Yandex took a 72-minute opener, then suffered a stunning collapse in game two, losing in just 16 minutes while trailing 1-25 in kills. They responded in style, closing out the decider in 42 minutes behind a dominant Timbersaw performance from ATF.

One pattern stands out: in each of their last three series, Yandex dropped a map but won the decider. It shows mental resilience — but also a vulnerability an opponent could exploit.

GamerLegion — the tournament's surprise package
GamerLegion arrives on a five-series winning streak. Their only group-stage loss came against Yandex (0-2 on opening day), before wins over Team Liquid and 1w Team. In the quarterfinals they edged LEGION, the team of fellow Macedonian Stojkov, 2-1, and in the semifinals they dismantled OG 2-0, needing under 45 minutes per map. Their star RCY posted a 20-4 K/D in that series. Already guaranteed a top-three finish, GamerLegion has secured its best-ever Tier 1 result.

Saksa's role
In a team where watson and ATF take the kills and the headlines, Saksa's work is often invisible but vital. As a veteran support, he drives map control, vision and fight initiation — exactly the elements that decided Yandex's long, grinding games against Astra Invicta and PARIVISION. Against an aggressive core like RCY, his ability to protect his own carries and punish early mistakes could prove decisive.

Key factors
* The draft: Yandex occasionally drops maps when it gambles on riskier hero picks, and GamerLegion could capitalize.
* RCY's form: if GamerLegion's star dominates, they can take at least one map.
* Experience: Yandex is chasing a third straight grand final; GamerLegion is at this stage for the first time.

Prediction
Bookmakers heavily favor Yandex (odds around 1.08 vs. 6.00). Our pick: Team Yandex 2-0, with 2-1 also possible if GamerLegion again finds a way to steal a map. Still, GamerLegion has already shown it should not be underestimated.
