Nemiga beat Legacy 2-0 in the opening match of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. Legacy, the FISSURE Playground 3 champions and the world No.7, had a disappointing start to the event.
Nemiga arrived in Romania with strong momentum, having won WINLINE MPKBK CIS LAN Season 7 and finished second at Stake Ranked Episode 4.
The Ancient map was chaotic and ended 25-23 for Nemiga after four overtimes, even though the team wasted three map points in regulation. Daniel "syph0" Ageyev stood out with 47 kills and a 1.55 rating.
On Dust2, Nemiga took control from the opening rounds and won 13-8. Legacy kept fighting while facing series point, but their comeback hopes ended in round 21, when Nikita "robo" Dushin came close to a triple kill in a mid-B split.
With the win, Nemiga moved up three places to 13th in the Europe VRS. According to HLTV's projections, their chances of qualifying for PGL Major Singapore now stand at 97%.
