LOUD are the new VALORANT world champions. The Brazilian organisation beat Team Vitality 3-1 in the Champions Shanghai grand final, becoming the first team in history to win two Champions titles.
LOUD also won Champions İstanbul in 2022, the last event before Riot's partnership system. They have now claimed the final title of the partnership era too, with an entirely new roster assembled only a few months ago.
LOUD took Summit (13-11), Sunset (13-5) and Haven (13-10), while Vitality won Lotus (13-8). Having come through the upper bracket, LOUD held two map bans and removed Ascent and Split.
Vitality had lost to LOUD in the upper final before beating 100 Thieves in the lower final. The defeat extends EMEA's wait for a Champions title to a third year.
