JiJieHao stayed in the hunt for the DraculaN Season 7 title on Thursday, beating Nexus Gaming 2:0 in the playoff lower bracket quarterfinal (Bo3). The team includes Macedonian rifler CacaNito (Aleksandar Kjulukoski).
The win came a day after JiJieHao lost 0:2 to SINNERS Esports in the upper bracket and dropped to the lower bracket. Before that, they had beaten Iberian Soul and FaZe Clan, both 2:1, in the playoffs.
Nexus Gaming are out of the tournament and are listed in the 5th-6th place bracket in the prize pool table.
JiJieHao's next match is the lower bracket final against Eternal Fire on Friday at 15:00. The winner goes on to face SINNERS Esports in the grand final the same evening. DraculaN Season 7 is a B-Tier offline event in Bucharest with a $35,000 prize pool.
