Imperial have won Circuit X Curitiba Season 4, significantly improving their VRS position ahead of the Major invite deadline. They beat paiN 2-0 in the final on 25 October.
Imperial took the first map, Anubis, 13-7, and then won Cache 13-9. Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo posted a 2.15 rating on the opener, while a team effort secured the second map.
On their way to the title, Imperial beat both BESTIA and paiN twice, which raised their own odds and hurt those of their rivals.
Three spots for PGL Major Singapore are still to be decided in the Americas. A week earlier Imperial had a 54% chance of being among them, and that now stands at 87%. The team is up to 40th in the VRS and inside the top nine in its region.
BESTIA, who finished third, dropped to a 4% chance. Finalists paiN still have a thin path to the Major at 23%, with Gamers Club Masters VII coming up.
