Gentle Mates GC beat Shopify Rebellion Gold 2-1 in the upper bracket final of the Game Changers Championship in São Paulo. The team achieved the result on its debut at the event.
The French-based side recovered from losing the opening map to close out the series.
The win sends Gentle Mates GC into Sunday's grand final, played as a best-of-five. The team will hold a two-map ban advantage in the final.
Shopify Rebellion Gold still has a path to the title, but must win the lower final to reach the grand final.
