FNATIC and Sylvain "Veqaj" Pattyn have mutually agreed to part ways after nearly one year together. On its official X account, the organization thanked the player for his efforts during a turbulent year and wished him all the best going forward.
Veqaj signed with FNATIC in November 2025 to fill the vacancy left by Chronicle. The roster started strongly with a second-place finish at SOOP Valorant League, but missed Masters Santiago after placing fourth at Kickoff. In Stage 1, FNATIC won three straight matches before Veqaj stepped away from the starting lineup due to health issues and was replaced by CyvOph.
In August, Veqaj publicly discussed his health-related absence and announced his intention to return to professional play. He did so as part of Mandatory's Open Qualifier roster, alongside starxo, Kicks, MiniBoo and Macedonian player Emil "runneR" Trajkovski.
Before FNATIC, the French player gained recognition in the French Challengers scene. In 2025 he helped Team Valiant win Challengers France Stage 2, earning an MVP award, and later made his tier-one debut with Gentle Mates as an Initiator. Gentle Mates won BtcTurk GameFest with him, but finished 0-5 in VCT EMEA Stage 2.
FNATIC's roster now consists of kaajak, crashies, Cloud and Alfajer.
