Falcons Force, with Macedonian rifler Nucleonz (Matej Trajkoski) in the lineup, began ECL Season 52: EU Cup #10 with a loss. The team forfeited its Group C opening match against WRAITH PCIFIC because of a scheduling conflict with another event, so the series is recorded as a 0:1 defeat.
The result sends WRAITH PCIFIC into the winners match, where it meets Rebels Gaming. Falcons Force drops to the lower side of the double-elimination group and plays an elimination match against MAYBE on Tuesday at 19:00. MAYBE also forfeited its opener.
Only the top two teams from each four-team group advance to the playoffs, and all group matches are best-of-three. The tournament has a $7,000 prize pool and runs until November 5.
For Nucleonz and Falcons Force, the evening match is now the one that keeps their run at the tournament going.
