Eternal Fire has allowed player Spear to explore his options. He announced that, although he remains under contract with the team through 2027, he is open to offers from all regions as a secondary Duelist or Sentinel. He speaks Turkish and English.
Spear, who turned 19 this year, is still a relatively new face on the VALORANT scene. He debuted in 2023 and, apart from a one-game stint with Barça eSports at this year's EMEA LCQ, has spent most of his career under the Eternal Fire banner. He was promoted to the main roster two games into Stage 2.
He played six VCT EMEA matches and three at Monsters Reloaded, as a Duelist and Sentinel. He started out as the team's primary entry player before moving into a secondary Duelist role later in Stage 2.
It has been a busy offseason for Eternal Fire. The team parted ways with Izzy, whom Spear replaced in the starting lineup, and allowed nekky and audaz to explore their options. The team was not selected as a partnered org, but said it will remain in VALORANT.
Eternal Fire's current roster includes Favian and echo, with afr0nfire as head coach and casteLL0 as assistant coach. With Türkiye down from four partnered orgs to two to start 2026, players like Spear will likely look for opportunities with non-partnered teams during the 2027 season.
