ENCE has announced that the organization will file for bankruptcy after a decision by its board of directors. The move ends the Finnish club's thirteen years of operations in Counter-Strike.
During that time ENCE won three MVP events: two with the all-Finnish lineup led by Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen in 2019, which also reached the IEM Katowice 2019 Major final, and one with the international lineup led by Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer in 2023.
After the team's core was sold to Falcons in December 2023, the roster went through several rebuilds with mixed results. In April 2026 ENCE promoted its Finnish academy lineup, and Aleksi "allu" Jalli joined as head coach in June.
At the time of the announcement, the Finnish roster was ranked 103rd on the global VRS, and the organization had not appeared at MVP events since September 2024. "Heartbroken," allu wrote on X, adding that he will give a more detailed statement later.
The final ENCE lineup consisted of Teemu "teme" Korva, Aleksi "millert" Lehtopuu, Giorgi "Schwarz" Gakhokidze, Joe "joeski" Holmes and Henri "HENU" Ylilehto, with allu as coach.
