This week's Dota 2 meta report covers about 276 recent professional games on patch 7.41f. The patch was released on 15 September 2026 and changed 35 heroes and 18 items. Dark Willow was also the top pick last week, and she now has 121 picks, a 52% win rate and 95 bans.
Behind her are Hoodwink with 112 picks but only a 41% win rate, Windranger with 108 picks and 55% wins, Dragon Knight with 98 picks and 55% wins, and Winter Wyvern with 88 picks and 44% wins.
Techies is the most banned hero with 168 bans, followed by Bounty Hunter with 165, Enigma with 163, Lone Druid with 151 and Brewmaster with 146. Techies was also picked 76 times and wins 57% of those games. Counting picks and bans together, Techies is the most contested hero at 244, with Dark Willow second at 216.
Among heroes with at least 28 games, Enigma has the best win rate at 68% over 40 games. Invoker has 66% in 32 games, Dark Seer 64% in 42 and Lycan 62% in 34. The weakest are Centaur Warrunner at 37% in 30 games, Tiny at 41% in 37 and Outworld Destroyer at 41% in 34.
Compared with 14 October, the pick share is rising for Dragon Knight (2.9% to 3.6%), Enigma (0.8% to 1.4%) and Lycan (0.7% to 1.2%). It is falling for Earth Spirit (2.7% to 2.0%), Doom (2.1% to 1.5%) and Rubick (3.0% to 2.4%). The data comes from OpenDota.
