Aurora Gaming kept its IEM Beijing 2026 run going on Tuesday morning, beating G2 Esports 2:1 in a Bo3 in Group B. The win came a day after a 0:2 defeat to Team Liquid in the opening match, and Macedonian in-game leader Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski and his team now stay in the fight for a playoff spot.
Aurora started well on Nuke, taking the map 13:9. G2 Esports levelled the series on Inferno, winning 13:9. The decider on Dust II was tight, and Aurora closed it out 16:13 in overtime to take the series at around 03:00.
In the group stage, the top three teams from each group advance to the playoffs. Aurora's next match is against BetBoom Team on November 4.
